The Amond table maintains a great sense of balance through the contrast between the top and the base, almost creating the illusion of a suspended top. Gino Carollo’s design favours an austere, pure and lean aesthetic, nevertheless retaining an elegant, flexible expressivity. Marked by contours that recall the shape of a diamond, the base is presented in multicoloured painted metal or with a burnished finish; the top is available in different variants of ceramic, glass or wood. The richness of the material displays a play of equilibrium and makes Amond a polyhedric table, which can easily be integrated within both classic and modern settings.
